The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) invites the media to talk to speakers, attendees, and listen to the innovators at HIMSS Summit08. HIMSS is pleased to welcome you as a member of the media to its Summit08. Registration is complimentary for professional journalists who are attending the conference to provide editorial coverage and who meet the eligibility criteria.

If you have never registered as media for a HIMSS-sponsored event, please review HIMSS Media Qualifications and Guidelines prior to registering.

Media Registration

Pre-Registration
The deadline for pre-registration is May 31, 2008. To pre-register, contact Sharolyn Rosier Hyson at 703/562-8819 or shyson@himss.org. After May 31, media must register on-site.

Upon receipt of your registration, you may be contacted by HIMSS and asked to provide supporting documentation to receive your media credentials. All media registering in advance will receive an e-mail confirmation of their registration. Media Badges Will Not Be Mailed To You. Pick up your media badge at the Renaissance Washington Hotel in Meeting Room 18 on Monday, June 9, from 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Media Registration On-Site
After May 31, media must register on-site at the Renaissance Washington Hotel in Meeting Room 18 at the HIMSS Registration desk at the Washington Renaissance Hotel. Please review the media eligibility criteria and bring all documentation with you to register on-site. If you plan to register on-site and want to be qualified in advance, call Sharolyn Hyson at 703/562-8819.
